Leah has been an Athens resident since 1999. She is married to Michael Leggett, a co-owner of CertaPro Painters of Athens. She is also the Foster Coordinator for Athens Canine Rescue, which is a non-profit volunteer network of foster homes rescuing stray dogs in the Athens area and placing them in forever homes. In addition to working with stray dogs, she is actively involved on the Board for Keep Athens Clarke County Beautiful as the Ex-Officio for the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce.
